Bloomingdale-Mr. Lanier Hutchinson, 73, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Lanier was born in Norristown to the late Henry & Lollis Hutchinson. He was a member of the Savannah Holy Church of God, he enjoyed music, and retired from Savannah Electric and Power Company.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Hutchinson; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie & Heather Hutchinson; grandchildren, Ashley Hutchinson and Dustin & Krystal Hutchinson; great-granddaughter, Myina Hutchinson; brothers, Winston & Carolyn Hutchinson and Herbert & Wanda Hutchinson and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Mr. Hutchinson's life was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Savannah Holy Church of God with Brother Ryan Ralston and Brother Jimmy Sumner officiating. Pallbearers were Steve Purifoy, Lou Dean Coleman, Archie Burson, Lamar Coleman, Ray Gillis and Johnny Sikes. Burial followed at Marlow Cemetery.
