Ellabell-Mr. Larry "Shorty" Bevill, 58, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at his
home.

Mr. Bevill was born to the late Charles and Ruth Strickland Bevill and lived in Ellabell
all of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Crawford Bevill; children, Charles Bevill, Samantha
Smith and Ruth Bevill; grandchildren, Sarah Moyer, Alexis Smith, Ashtyn Smith, Connor
and Taylor Darnstaedt; brothers, Jack and Charles Bevill and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Mr. Bevill will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the
Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler.

The funeral to honor Mr. Bevill's life will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the
Beulah Baptist Church located off of Hwy 280 in Bryan County. Rev. Dan Bryant will
officiate and the pallbearers will be Terry Strickland, Jerry Strickland, Al Strickland,
Robert Strickland, Renard Davis and Junior Myers. Burial will follow at Ellabell United
Methodist Church Cemetery on Hwy 204.
