Mr. Larry L. Blackmon, Sr., 78, of Eden, GA, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Larry was born in Savannah, GA to the late Lewis Marion Blackmon and Rosetta Anderson Gillis.  He was employed for many years at Melody Acres, he enjoyed his CB radio and his guns.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Blackmon; children, Lewis Blackmon, Sandra Wrye (Charles), Donna Hodges, Joseph Blackmon (Jennifer), Jimmy Blackmon, Lorie Yoder (Jason), Jacob Blackmon (Christina), and Matthew Blackmon; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, and many "adopted" children.

The family will have a private graveside service to honor Mr. Blackmon which will be for family only.
