Rincon-Mr. Larry Chastain, 73, of Rincon, GA passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015.
Larry was born to the late J.C. & Virginia Chastain. He was a 1960 graduate of Southwest High School in Atlanta. He lived in Cobb County, GA before moving to Rincon, GA four years ago. Larry had a successful sales career selling trucks for major manufacturers, founding JLC Trucks, and selling real estate. He was a member of the Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Annette Elliott Chastain; children, James Darron Chastain (Gina), and Kimberly Chastain Summers (Pratt); grandchildren, Christopher James Chastain, Anna Marie Summers, Walker Summers, and Weston Summers; brothers, W. Wayne Chastain, and Thomas D. Chastain; sisters, Sue Chastain Ivey, and Katherine Chastain Gaspard; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry L. Chastain.
The visitation will be on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5-6 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel at the Walker Center of the Mount Paran Church of God located at 2055 Mount Paran Road NW, Atlanta, GA.
