Larry Joseph Collins
10/17/1958 - 3/24/2026
Larry was a man of strength skill and determination. At 17 years old he joined the Army answering the call to serve his country with courage and commitment- values that stayed with him throughout his life.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace in nature, especially when fishing. He was mostly at home outside working with his hands. A natural builder, he took pride in creating, fixing, and shaping things with care and precision leaving behind not just structures but lasting impressions on those around him.
He was a devoted father and Papae. He was survived by his son Marshall Collins, daughter in law Rocio Cardona, daughter Tabatha Collins, son in law Troy Dillard. Stepdaughter Angela Weldon, stepson Joey Mitchell. Grandchildren: Matthew Collins, Juan Cardona, Alexus. Lydia and Braily Dillard, Chelsey Bailey, Tray Carter, Joey Jr., Cole, and Rose Mitchell and 3 great granddaughters.
He is also survived by his brothers Brian Collins, sister-in-law Karleen Collins, Gary Collins and 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great nephews, and 2 great nieces.
Larry will be remembered for his hard-working nature, his love of the outdoors, and the quiet, steady presence he brought into the lives of those who knew him. His legacy lives in the memories he created and the love he shared.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
