Larry Eugene Kight, Sr.

Guyton – Larry Eugene Kight, Sr., 67, passed away May 15, 2018 at Memorial Hospital from complications of back surgery.

He was the son of the late Robert (Bob) and Doris Kight. He graduated from Groves High School and retired from Savannah Sugar Refinery.  He was a member of North Salem Baptist Church, Port Wentworth, GA.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife Beth Hodges Kight; children, Larry, Jr. (Tracy) and Rebecca Sykes (Brian); grandchildren, Emma and Kelsey Kight; brother, James (Jimbo) Kight; sisters, Brenda King (Jerry) and Donna Brannen (Jerome); brother-in-law, Paul Hodges (Faye); several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12 noon, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at North Salem Baptist Church, 955 GA Hwy. 30, Port Wentworth, GA 31407.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
