Mr. Larry Lamb, 74, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his home.

Larry was born in Durham, North Carolina and spent his formative years in Scranton, South Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Benjamin and Mary Filyaw Lamb, as well as two sisters and a brother.  He retired from the U.S. Marine Corp and attended the Savannah First Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Larry was always looking to help others and will be remembered for his loyalty, caring demeanor, being trustworthy, and always looking to do the right thing.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Virginia C. Lamb; son, Matthew Lamb; daughter, Catherine Lenora Lamb; eight grandchildren; brothers, Buck (Myra) and Dinker; sister, Margie, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service to honor Larry's life will be on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Savannah First Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Michael Kontes officiating and military honors being observed.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to the Savannah First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 50 Godley Way, Savannah, Georgia 31407.
