Larry L. Sherwood

Rincon- Larry L. Sherwood, 75, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Memorial Health.

He was born in Union City, PA and raised in Lake Co., Ohio. He was a US Army veteran before moving his family to Rincon in 1976. Larry retired from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation after 38 years.  Larry was a deacon at Rincon First Christian Church and New Hope Christian Church for a number of years before his health declined in 2008.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Lamprecht Sherwood; two daughters, Sherry Cielock (Calvin) and Donna Bartley (Joseph); grandchildren, Brandi Cielock, David Bartley and Daniel Bartley; a sister, Sandra Darnell (Hubert); and many special nieces/nephews and great- nieces/nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 pm Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Rincon First Christian Church.

Interment: Springfield Cemetery Annex.
