Larry David Steese

Springfield – Larry David Steese, 79, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Memorial Health.

The Pennsylvania native retired from Savannah Electric. He was a member of Rincon United Methodist Church and the Lions Club.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Beulah Dauberman Steese.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Steese; children, Pamela Jo Helmey (Eddie) and David Steese (Georgiana); grandchildren, Jina Perdue (Jay), Chris Helmey (Anna), Hannah Hayes (Tyler), and Nicholas David Steese; great-grandchildren, Milo and Wilder Perdue, Colton and Easton Helmey; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rincon United Methodist Church followed by funeral services at 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
