Laura Madeline Carpp, 37, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at her home.

Survivors include her six year old daughter, Emma Parcell; mother, Carol Carpp; older sister, Lindsay Carpp; older brother, Jason Carpp; younger brother, Jonathan Carpp, and younger sister, Grace Carpp.

Laura was born in Des Moines, Iowa and was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Carpp.  Her daughter, Emma, was the primary focus of her life.  Laura was devoted to Emma and would go without to make sure Emma had what she needed.  Laura did not have a need for many possessions, realizing that relationships were far more important.  She had a tenderness for animals, particularly her dogs and cats, and enjoyed being outdoors – either challenging herself with physical activities or walking along the beach, or even camping with Emma and the Scouts.  Laura was employed at Gulfstream as a manufacturing engineer.

The memorial service to celebrate Laura's life will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.
