Guyton- Laura Claire Griggs Carranza, 31, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at Effingham Hospital.

The San Diego, CA native had lived in California, Hawaii, Italy, and Georgia. She loved travelling through the North Georgia mountains. She was a data analyst with Scripta Insights and really loved computer programming. Her nickname was "LuLu" and she loved her fur babies, 2 dogs and 4 cats.

She is survived by her husband, Jake Carranza; parents, Gregory and Janet Griggs; brother, Christopher Griggs; grandmother, Trilby Kay Griggs; aunts, Sheila Romero, Terry Lease, Donna Vera, Karen Gyengo, Kathy Long; uncles, Frank Traficante, Michael Traficante, Jeff Traficante, Kevin Traficante; mother-in-law, Karen Shelton; brother-in-law, Ben Carranza; and many cousins and other relatives.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 am - 4 pm, Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Laurel Island Links, 233 Marsh Harbour Pkwy, Kingsland, GA 31548.
