Lawrence Olin "Larry" Way, III

Rincon – Lawrence Olin "Larry" Way, III, 56, passed away January 22, 2019 at Effingham Hospital.

The South Carolina native was a 1984 graduate of Clemson University and was employed at Gulfstream for over 20 years where he recently retired. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rincon, a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and youth group leader which he loved.  He coached football and basketball with the Rincon Recreation Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Olin Way, Jr. and Joann Avinger Way.

Survivors include his wife, Tracie Way; children, Lauren Elizabeth Marks (Holden) and Lawrence "Olin" Way, IV; sister, Charlise Way (Daniel Groth); brother, Frank Way (Tom Rozier); and his longtime nurse and caregiver, Tina Roper Blades.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Interment will follow in Rincon Cemetery.
