Mr. Lawrence D. O'Rourke

Pooler-Mr. Lawrence D. O'Rourke, 66, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at his home
after suffering from a lenghty illness.

Mr. O'Rourke was born in Omro, Wisconsin and had lived in Pooler since 2005. He had
been employed with the State of Georgia as a correctional officer. He served his country
in the U.S. Navy from 1957 until 1961 and in the U.S. Army from 1961 until 1981 and
served in Vietnam for 3 years. He was a Catholic and was preceded in death by his
parents, Gordon and Isabell McCall O'Rourke, Sr. and his sister, Darlene.

Survivors include his wife, Ann O'Rourke; children, Laura (Eddie) Bragg, Misty
(Michael) Moye, Rebecca (Alvin) Barnard, Larry O'Rourke, Jr., Sean O'Rourke and
Kathleen O'Rourke;, fourteen grandchildren; brothers, Gordon (Cindy) O'Rourke,
Thomas (Theresa) O'Rourke and Gary (Karen) O'Rourke; brother-in-law, Richard
Mathaus and a number of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial Service: 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home.
