Bloomingdale-Mr. Lawton Edgar Evans, 84, passed away on May 31, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born on January 17, 1929 in Baxley, GA and was a lifelong resident of Savannah. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Evans.
Survivors include his daughters, Terry (Jimmy) Spivey of Savannah, Linda Evans of Bloomingdale, Donna (Terry) Smith of Ellabell, Tina Evans of Bloomingdale and Sandra (Allan) McDonald of Savannah; one sister; one brother; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Southside Assembly of God located at 401 Tibet Avenue in Savannah.
