Obituary
Leila Davis Aldrich, 83, died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Candler Hospital.
The Effingham County native was retired from Kemira. Leila was raised in the Episcopal Home for Girls and was a longtime member of Christ Church. She loved farming and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bartow and Essie Davis, and by her husband, Jesse Aldrich.
Survivors include her daughters, Celeste Drescher, Carol Ward, and Elizabeth Romanow (Steve); a sister, Indy Wilson; a brother, Zara Davis; grandchildren, John Drescher (Michele), Jesse Drescher (Andrea), Wally Drescher (Jessica), Lindsey Lamb (Wesley), Kenny Lee Brown (Jason), and Mario Davis; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Woods Family Cemetery.
