Leon H. Burnsed

Rincon- Leon H. Burnsed, 87, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Memorial Health.

The Bulloch County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon and the Sojourner's Sunday School Class. The US Army Korean War veteran was retired from Union Camp after over 40 years of service. Leon was a handy man who could do anything he set his mind to. He was an extremely hard worker who loved building houses for people when he wasn't working at Union Camp.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Burnsed; daughter, Diane Frailey (Dan); son, Michael Burnsed (Joanne); granddaughter, Danielle Brandenburgh (Billy); two grandsons, Kyle Burnsed (Lindsey) and Timothy Burnsed; a sister, Bertie Mae Anderson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10 -11 am Friday, February 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Funeral: 11 am Friday, February 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Interment: Rincon Cemetery.
