Obituary

Rincon-Mr. Leon Jerome Hall, Sr., 68, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Hall was born in Savannah to the late Elmer "Pepper" & Lucile Hall. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gwendolyn Shandra Hall, and his sister, Denise H. Scott. He was a member of Rincon First Christian Church where he was baptized by Rev. Autry Jackson, a member of the Sons of Confederacy, Ebenezer Rifles, and a member of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. He retired from Citgo Oil Refinery in Savannah after 31 years of service. He flew radio controlled airplanes, enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, and working on car engines.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Claudia Marie S. Hall of Rincon; son, Jerry Hall of Port Wentworth; grandson, Dalton A. Hall of Port Wentworth; two nieces of Bluffton, SC, and his aunt, Helen Kirchner of Sardis.
The visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.
The graveside funeral and burial will be on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery located at 1501 E. U.S. Hwy. 80 in Bloomingdale.
