Mrs. Leona Marie Butler Todd, 96, of Garden City, GA, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Todd was born in Charleston, SC and was preceded in death by her parents, Creed Taylor Butler and Laura Mears Butler.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Todd, Jr., sons, Edward H. "Buddy" Todd, III and John Randolph "Randy" Todd, a daughter, Peggy Todd Hendley, a grandson, Jeff Greenway, a great-grandson, Zachary Holton, brother, Roscoe Butler, and a son-in-law, Joey Walker.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City and was a homemaker.  She was a great cook, and enjoyed crocheting, and watching American Bandstand.  She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Linda Marie Todd Greenway (Tommy Dorsey Greenway), Jackie Walker, and Michael E. Todd, Sr. (Leslie Smith Todd); grandchildren, Randy Greenway (Tara), Shane Walker (Nicole), John Todd (Tammy), Lori Holton (Alvin), Christy Bumpers (William), John Henry Johnson (Jamie Johnson), Michael Todd, Jr. and Kaitlyn Todd Brown (Michael); several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, Caroline and Tootie.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Marie's life will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  The graveside funeral and burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Bonaventure Cemetery.  Their will not be a procession to the cemetery.
