Rincon – Leonard Wilson, Sr., 91, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Augusta.

The Candler County native was a retired machinist at the Shipyard. He was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God. Leonard was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janie Johnson and his son, Bill Wilson.

Survivors include his children, Leonard "Bobby" Wilson, Jr., Dianna Wilson, Susie Wilson, and Cindy Wilson; sister, Shirley Porter (Ernest); 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, October 29, 2021 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
