Leslie J. Chappell, 57, of Pooler, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA.  Leslie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA.

Leslie's eyes lit up like sapphires and her hair was like spun gold.  Guided by her fiery spirit and tender heart, she had a life filled with joy, love, struggle and grace.  She liked rainbows, sunrises and sunsets symbolizing hope through darkness and light.  She loved her mom but was a daddy's girl and from them she developed her passions of culinary arts and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  The littlest of five siblings, but anyone who knew her knew she didn't much like being bossed around.  A true social butterfly, she enjoyed spending time with her fiance' Dave, family and friends.  Aside from being the baby sister of Lori, Lonnie, Lynn and Larry, she found purpose in becoming a mother to Cody, Darius and David.  She was so proud of her sons and grandchildren and glowed when speaking of them.  As we bid farewell, let us remember her with hearts of compassion and spirits of love.

Leslie's wishes were to be cremated and their will be a memorial service in Pittsburgh at a later date to celebrate her life.
