Springfield- Leslie Dawson Gooch, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at his home.

The Hickory, NC native was an upholsterer for most of his life, working at Edwards Interiors for the last 6 years. He loved the "water", baseball, the New Orleans Saints, and old school muscle cars. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gooch; his mother, Kay Gooch; and his brother, Robert Gooch.

He is survived by his sons, Leslie Gooch (Zena), Dawson Gooch, Corey Fey (Katie); grandchildren, Landon Gooch, Jacob Gooch, Micah Haynes (Lacey), Adyson Haynes, Hayden Haynes, Olivia Fey, and Maxwell Fey; brothers, James Gooch and Michael Gooch (Robin); and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
