Obituary
Bloomingdale-Mr. Lester Royce Martin, 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Martin was born in Collins, GA to the late Henry & Leona Martin. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kay Thomas Martin, son, Gary Anderson, and two brothers, Paul Martin and David Martin. He retired from Union Camp, served his country in the U.S. Marines, and was a member of the Zerubbabel Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy & Glenn Pope; granddaughters, Amanda & Timmy Dickey, and April Pope; great-grandson, Cayden; sisters, Montez DeLoach and Virginia Todd; brothers, Ellis Martin and Pat Martin; brothers-in-law, Donnie Thomas and Tex Ritter, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
