Mrs. Lillian Sapp McDonald, 91, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at The Resorts at Pooler.

Lillian was born in Bulloch County to the late Frank Sapp and Lillie Stringer Sapp.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Leo McDonald, and siblings, Alice Nease, Frankie Richardson, and Perry Lee Sapp.  She was a long-time member of Rothwell Baptist Church where she attended the Virginia Gerald Sunday School Class.  She was always a faithful servant to the Lord.  She was employed with Woolworth's for many years.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her greatest joy was taking care of her family and helping to raise her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Danny and Sandy McDonald, and Larry McDonald; grandchildren, Jamie McDonald, Jennifer Arnold, and Alexis McDonald; brother, James Sapp, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
