Linda Lee Burke, Our angel Mom gained her heavenly wings, January 7, 2026.

Born Linda Alberta Lee, October 30, 1941 to her parents, Mildred Floyd Thorpe and William Henry Lee in Savannah, GA.

Raised in Montgomery, GA, she was naturally a lover of saltwater and sunshine.

An artist and piano player, Linda had a fondness for fashion, genealogy and kittens.

A caregiver to all in need, Linda loved God and her family. Her "precious" children were the light of her life. She was Mom to many neighborhood children, as well as her own. Linda's home was open to all. She was loved by all her kids.

She was Sunday School teacher, Campfire Girl leader and President of Humphries Elementary PTA in Atlanta, GA. She was also a proud member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution.

Awaiting her in heaven, her brother, Bill Lee; husband, Jim Woodward; and son, Scott Woodward.

Missing her on earth, her husband, Kenneth Burke; daughters, Cyndi and Michelle Woodward; daughter-in-love, April Woodward; grandchildren, Zac, Emily, Will and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Scotty and Riley; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda Lee was a lovely woman, with a beautiful smile and a kind heart that never met a stranger. We love you Mom.

Graveside Service: 10 am Friday, January 9, 2026 at Greenwich Cemetery.
