Springfield – Linda Gail Morgan Malphus, 70, passed away, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at her home.

The Effingham County native was retired from Kroger. She was a member of Elam Egypt Baptist Church and loved sewing, cooking, and playing cards with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Billie Morgan; and son, Michael Anthony Stanley, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Malphus; children, Stephen Thomas Stanley (Crystal), Susanne Rebecca Stanley, Lee Malphus (Jamie), and Christie Wilson (Kevin); grandchildren, Callie Malphus, Colby Malphus, Gavin Pounder, Kyleigh Pounder, Corbin Stanley, Bailee Wilson; a great-granddaughter, Fynleigh Malphus; sisters, Ronnell Devoe, Margaret Cannon, Frances Davis, Becky Davis, Leisha Rogers, and Jessie Rowe; and numerous nieces and nephews and loving friends.

Visitation: 10 – 11 am Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Ryall Cemetery
