Linda Mock Neurath
Rincon- Linda Mock Neurath, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
The Effingham County native, daughter of Lamar and Carrie Mock, grew up attending Springfield United Methodist Church and later joined Rincon United Methodist Church. She was a retired registered nurse who had worked in the recovery room at Candler Hospital. She graduated from the Warren Candler School of Nursing in 1962. She enjoyed watching her grandsons play ball, the First Saturday Night Supper Club, baking bread, crocheting, and the fellowship of bluegrass camping. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Allen Neurath, Jr.
Survivors include her husband Carl Neurath; daughters, Carrie Ann Neurath Thompson (Gus) and Carla Neurath Newton (Michael); sister, Kathryn Aler; brother, Cornell Mock (Camille); grandsons, Baylor Allen Thompson and Truett William Thompson; and many loving family members.
A special thanks is given to her doctors and their staff, Dr. Mark Taylor, Dr. Douglas Mullins, Dr. Maria Mascolo, and Dr. Prakash Patel.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, September 9, 2016 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Rincon United Methodist Church.
Interment: Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
