Mrs. Linda Yawn Poole, 71, of Pooler, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Hazlehurst, GA and lived in the Savannah area all her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Hamilton Yawn and Edith Pritchett Yawn, as well as her sister, Diane Brown. She retired from Hospice Savannah where she was an LPN. She enjoyed crafting, flowers, and crocheting. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, and riding in her dune buggy with the Southern Rail Riders. She will be remembered for always putting others first, helping others, and for being a warm, loving person.
Survivors include her husband of almost 41 years, Gerald W. Poole, Sr.; children, Jason Reddick (Robin), Gerald Poole, Jr. (Misty), and Angela Cox (Joshua); 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Michael Yawn; several nieces, nephews, and her special pet, Lucy.
The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the funeral home. The funeral to honor Linda's life will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
