Rincon – Linda Gilder Tillman, 75, passed away August 22, 2022 at Memorial Health.

The Colquitt County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon and the Larry Carver Sunday School Class which she loved.  She retired from the Effingham County Board of Education and loved working at the Manna House.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Fred Gilder and Elizabeth Jane Wynn Gilder; her husband, William Johnny Tillman; and 9 siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Terrie Stille, Renee T. Morgan (Neil), and Lonnie Cribbs (Wayne); grandchildren, Brandon Stille (Kayla), Zachary Stille, Monica Black (Sean), Hailey Wynn (Kaleb), Allison Mercado (Danny), and Daniel Cribbs; great-grandchildren, Alex Cela, Raegen Stille, Brantley Stille, Evelyn Stille, Ansleigh Black, Charlee Black, Carter Wynn, Graham Wynn, Hayes Wynn, Hudson Wynn, and Kailey Mercado; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Rincon followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.

Private burial will be held in Rincon Cemetery.
