Guyton – Lisa Bryan Powell, 58, passed away March 4, 2024 at Memorial Health surrounded by her family.

She was a resident of Effingham County for 19 years.  As an active member of North Salem Baptist Church, she enjoyed serving the youth.  Her personal time was spent playing with her grandchildren.  Cutting grass and working in the yard was how she spent her quiet time.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Leon Powell; her father, Richard Bryan; and her sister, Denise Bryan.

Survivors include her daughter, Diamond Mixon (Aubrey); grandsons, Asher and Dash Mixon; her mother, Suzanne Bryan; siblings, Richard Bryan, Rhonda Moore, and Kim Jaudon; her fiancé, Wayne Daniels; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the funeral home.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at North Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
