Lloyd Aaron Waters, Jr.

Ret. Msg. Lloyd Aaron Waters, Jr., 83, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at his home.

Lloyd will be missed by his children, Lloyd Aaron Waters III, John Michael Waters, and Vicki Elizabeth Waters; grandchildren, Jonathan Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Lucas Smith, and Skyla Waters; great-grandchildren, Lily Malphrus, Everett Anderson, and Evan Anderson; sister, Joann Grissom, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Terry L. Calhoun Waters; parents, Lloyd Aaron Waters, Sr. and Tessie M. Cummings Waters; sister, Margaret Johnson, and brother, Gerald Waters. Lloyd served his country in the United States Army where he retired after 22 years of faithful service. He is remembered as being a great dad and provider. He enjoyed bowling, singing karaoke, and riding motorcycles.

The visitation will be on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.
