Mrs. Lois Mae Adams, 89, of Pooler and formerly of Garden City, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at her home.

Lois was born in Albany, NY and was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton James Mannis and Evelyn Mae Weiler Mannis, her husband, Russell Marcus Adams, Jr. and a daughter, Debra Ann Adams.  She worked for many years at Whitaker Laboratory and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she was the treasurer for a number of years.  She will be remembered for being a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Russell M. Adams, III (Anne Murdock), Melanie Dixon (Shelly), and Betsy Hinson (Greg); eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
