Lois V. Kessler Hodges

Springfield- Lois Kessler Hodges, 92, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2013.

The Rincon native and longtime Garden City resident had been a resident at the Effingham Extended Care Facility for five years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Herbert Preston Hodges, Sr. in 1987.

She is survived by a son, Preston Hodges and his wife, Ellen of Loganville, GA; grandchildren, Andy Hodges and his wife Amy of Loganville, and Leslie Miller and her husband Ian of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Cole Hodges, Sydney Miller, Grace Hodges and Zach Miller; two brothers, Clifford Kessler and Ralph Kessler.

Visitation: 12 noon – 1:30 pm Thursday, March 7, 2013 in the funeral home.

Graveside Service: 2 pm Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Springfield Cemetery.
