Lola Yarbrough Ray

Rincon- Lola Yarbrough Ray, 86, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Hospice Savannah.

The Bulloch County native was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rincon. She had served as the Children's Ministry Director for over 20 years and was in the choir for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernie Yarbrough and William L. Ray, seven brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Yarbrough Simmons (Joe) and LaTrelle Yarbrough Pevey, all of Rincon; a son, Richard "Dicky" Yarbrough (Carol) of Hamilton, GA; step-children, Sandra Anderson, Judy Kent (Ricky), David Ray (Missy); a sister, Leona Woodcock Kell of Martinez, GA; 6 grandchildren, Ric Pevey (Carolyn), Amy Stegin Capwell (Harry), Ron Pevey, Stacie Simmons Taylor (Preston), Katie Yarbrough, and Clay Yarbrough; 5 step-grandchildren, Kyle Anderson, Cathy Gadomski, Kenny Bibb, Lyric Cross, and Taylor Ray; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 2-3 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 3 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the chapel.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
