Lonnie P. Owens, Sr.
Guyton- Lonnie P. Owens, Sr., 84, died January 8, 2015 at his residence.
The Effingham County native was a World War II and Korean War US Army veteran and was retired from the Savannah Airport Commission.
Survivors include his children, Lonnie Owens, Jr. (Kitty), Brenda Dorman (Larry), and Christine Owens; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, January 9, 2015 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 2 pm Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Springfield Cemetery Annex
