Rincon – Lorraine Kerner, 88, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Effingham Care Center.
The Missouri native was a member of New Life Worship Center and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry William Steinkamp and Amelia Marie Caroline Kisker; and husband, Leo John Kerner.
Survivors include her children, Jan Kerner of Cape Canaveral, FL, Kay (Robert) Eads of Virginia Beach, VA, and Scott (Debi) Kerner of Rincon; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
