Guyton – Lothare O. Hinely died in the home of her loving family on August 23, 2015. A beautiful and loving family, that she raised, sharing her faith as a devout Christian. She was 92 years old.
Lothare is survived by her daughter, Wannette H. Yarbrough of Guyton, GA; her two grandchildren, Chad Yarbrough and Tiffany Yarbrough. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Hinely of Guyton, GA; her son, Kelby Hinely; her son-in-law, Roger (Tim) Yarbrough of Guyton, GA; her parents, Richard and Janie Oliver; her two brothers, Hilton and Clyde Oliver of Collins, GA and her three sisters, Lavi Strickland, Mattie Lou Barrow, and Emma Stevens.
Lothare was born on August 26, 1922 in Collins, GA to Richard and Janie Oliver. Lothare was the last surviving child of Richard and Janie. During what came to be just short of 93 beautiful years on this earth, it was not only Lothare's large loving family that basked in the light of her faith and the graciousness she spread as a devout Christian but it was the many friends that saw the beauty in Lothare on the inside and out. Her love of life and the Lord was always apparent in the presence of Lothare. She had such a passion for life and love for everyone.
In 1940, Lothare graduated from Collins High School. After graduating from school she went on to work for Sears & Robuck Co. Lothare has such a passion for life and anything she set out to do that 22 years later she became a member of the Sears Retiree Club. As a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, she helped serve her Lord and those around her in any way she could. She worked on various committees and was a member of the Martin Nease Sunday School class and Bethesda Women's Association. Aside from her church home and family she was also a past member and president of the Marlow Friendship Garden Club. She enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening.
Lothare passed away peacefully in her family home. She will be remembered as an excellent cook, a caregiver, a devout Christian woman, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, and one of the kindest people anyone could have ever had the pleasure of encountering.
A viewing is set for Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Strickland's Funeral Home in Pooler, GA. A funeral will be held at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Guyton, GA on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Lothare will be buried in her family plot at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. Brother, Matt Waldron will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lothare's life. Flowers can be sent to Strickland's Funeral Home in Pooler, GA.
