Louis "Marty" Jenkins, Jr.
Rincon – Louis "Marty" Jenkins, Jr. 59, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Candler Hospital.
Marty was born in Indianola, MS on December 23, 1955. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Jenkins Construction at the Georgia Pacific Mill and for Yancey Caterpillar in Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nufree Jenkins; and step-brother, Jimmy Garris.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Jenkins of Rincon; son, Colten Jenkins of Rincon; father and step-mother, Louis Jenkins, Sr. and Colleen of Guyton; sisters, Debora Miller and Leo of Guyton and Brenda Blackwood and Cliff of Springdale, AR; step-sisters, Donna Young and Les of Catoosa, OK and Julie Jenkins of Rincon; step-brother, Jeff Garris and Anita of Guyton.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Treutlen House, 131 Old Augusta Road Central, Rincon, GA 31326.
