Louise Cain Lain

Midway – Louise Cain Lain, 78, passed away June 5, 2026 at Hospice Savannah.

She was born in Virginia and raised in Pennsylvania before moving South. She worked in accounting for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben C. Cain and grandmother who raised her, Cora Louise Cain.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Nolan Earl Lain, Jr.; daughters, Ann Marie Lain Holifield (Dean); grandsons, H.D. Holifield (Madison) and Charlie Holifield (Caitlin); great-grandson, Ezra Holifield.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026 followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Private interment will follow in North Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
