Kildare- Louise "Sister" Trowell Tebeau, 97, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at her residence.

The Effingham County native was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield, where she had served many years in the choir and the nursery. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and was affectionately known by her grandchildren as "Ma-Bo".

Survivors include her children, Bobby Tebeau (Patricia), Billy Tebeau (Sue), Rose Mary Tebeau, and Evelyn Graham (Carey); grandchildren, Randal Tebeau (Lisa), Sheldon Tebeau, Patrick Tebeau (Mindy), Loy Graham (Shelly), Joy Lanier (Russ), Ron Graham (Ali), Marcie Mingledorff (Robbie), Lee Wilkes, and Susie Villarreal (Robert); 13 great-grandchildren; and caregiver, Mary Thomas.

Visitation: 9:30 – 10:45 am Friday, June 23, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Springfield.

Funeral: 11 am Friday, June 23, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Springfield.

Burial: Union Cemetery
