Obituary

Pooler-Mrs. Lucille Johns Redding, 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at
her niece's home.

Mrs. Redding was born in Emanuel County and had lived for a number of years in Eden
before moving to Pooler. She was a former member of Powers Baptist Church and a
current member of Rothwell Baptist Church. She retired from Union Camp after forty
years. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.O. "Skinney" Redding, her brother,
Theo Johns and six sisters, Evelyn Moring, Ruby Faircloth, Mildred Overstreet, Margie
Redding, Lillian Reddick and Louise Waters.

Survivors include three sisters, Doris J. Faircloth of Swainsboro, Frankalene J. Williams
of Kingsport, TN and Pauline Hiott of Garden City and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Powers Baptist Church Cemetery in Eden.

Remembrances may be given to Rothwell Baptist Church, 216 East Rothwell Street,
Pooler, GA 31322 or to Powers Baptist Church, P.O. Box 730, Eden, GA 31307 or to
Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
