Guyton – Lucious Montell "Junior" Thompson, Jr., 76, passed away February 21, 2023 at his home.

The Savannah native was a retired salesman for Claxton Poultry.  He was a handyman that loved redoing furniture and spending time with his family. The name of his band was "Country Roads", where he played the guitar and sang for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Thompson; and his parents, Montell and Doretha Blocker Thompson.

Survivors include his children, Eddie Thompson, Susie Marsh (Jeffery), Teresa Wells (Scott), and Alan Thompson (Keisha Watts); stepdaughters, Robin Tipton (Jamie) and Renee Smith; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Helmey; a brother, Marvin Thompson (Sally); and other relatives.

Visitation: 11 am – 12 noon Saturday February 25, 2023 in the funeral home.
