Lugene H. Fogle, Jr. "MIKE", 65, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Mike is going to be missed by his mother, Linda Elliott (Vernon); his father, L.H. Fogle, Sr. (Lynn); brother, Steven Fogle (Margie Gibson); aunts, Patty Glisson and Sherry Hall; uncle, David Fogle; numerous cousins including, Tracy Walling (Erin), Linda Foster, and Bobby Schenck; bonus sisters, Sonja Goodwin (Keith), DeAnne Conners, and Georganna Gutherie; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family, Katherine Weeks, Sandra Fox, Brenda Rawlins, and George R. Weeks, II

The Fogle family would like to thank Margie Gibson for being a wonderful and loving longtime caregiver.

Mike was born in Chatham County on July 7, 1960 and was preceded in death by his Aunt Margie Schenck, his Uncle Cecil W. Walling, Jr., his Aunt Trudie Fogle,  Kathy W. Murphy, and cousin Ronnie Walling.  He graduated from Effingham County High School in 1979 where he was a member of the F.F.A.  He worked at Kemira in Savannah until he became disabled and retired.  He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, playing darts, shooting pool, and dancing.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Southside Baptist Church, 5502 Skidaway Road, Savannah, GA  31406.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Mike's life will be on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah, Georgia.
