Pooler-Mrs. Luvare Tuten, 73, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009 at Candler Hospital.
Mrs. Tuten was born in Tillman, SC and was employed with Garden Acres Inc. in Pooler. She was the #1 fan of the family racing team. She was involved in all the children and grandchildren's many activities and was loved deeply by her family and many friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Mark Williamson and their children, Kandi & Fred Cannady and Ryan Lambert; a deceased son, Chris Tuten; a daughter and son-in-law, Delia & David Diekemper and their children, Robert & Kristin, Joseph Diekemper and Justin Diekemper; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie & Brian Dugger and their daughter, Emily; great-grandchildren, Brittany Carroll, Jared Wells, Payton Diekemper and Braelyn Cannady; a deceased brother, Dale Lamb and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Graveside Funeral: 10 a.m. on Thursday at Douglas Cemetery off of Conaway Road in Bloomingdale.
