Macklin Earl Rowe

Springfield – Macklin Earl Rowe, 84, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Effingham Care Center.

Born October 22, 1933 in Hastings, OK to the late Arch and Eula Rowe. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Fries Poultry, Victory Bowling Center, and retired from Candler Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Myrtle Gordon Rowe; daughter, Missy Usher; son, Gene Futch; grandson, Robby Carlisle; 3 brothers, Doyl, Troy, and Don; and 1 sister, Waunette Porter.

He is survived by his children, Mindy Tebeau (Patrick), Andria Adkins, David McKendree (Lisa), Brenda Panther (Pete), Janet Carlisle (Debbie Fleming); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Aubrey, Bob, Jodie, and Jerry; sisters, Sip Duncun and Wanda Pewitt.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
