Mrs. Madeline Rowland, 80, of Midway, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in Ludowici to the late James Virgil & Evener Florence Price.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Rowland, a daughter, Caroline Bonita Rowland, and a grandson, James Michael Driggers, Sr.  She retired as a seamstress and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.  She enjoyed fishing and cooking, especially baking cakes.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. & Larry Dunlap; 3 grandchildren, Melissa R. Crites, Amanda & Kris Meekins, Sr. and Bryan & Charlene Howell; 17 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great-grandchildren; her twin brother and sister-in-law, Lester E. & Linda Price and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, January 2 ^nd at the First United Pentecostal Church located at 1735 Grove Point Road in Savannah from 11 a.m. until 12 noon followed by the funeral in the sanctuary at 12 noon.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
