Springfield - Madena Hinely Edenfield, 93, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at
Effingham Extended Care.
The Effingham County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield. She
was preceded in death by her parents, Spurgeon Bessell Hinely and Corine Lillian Bragg
Hinely and husband, Alvin Paul Edenfield.
Survivors include her daughter, Tillie Gnann; sons, Bessell Edenfield and Bennie
Edenfield; 2 sisters, Marguerite Dutton and Lucy Ray Zittrouer all of Springfield; 7
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with funeral services
following at 4 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to First Baptist Church of Springfield Benevolence Fund,
1435 Hwy. 119 N., Springfield, GA 31329.
