Bloomingdale-Mrs. Madge Latrelle Phillips, 54, died on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at
St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Ware County and had lived in Chatham County for a number of
years. She attended South Newington Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and spending
time on the computer. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Phillips of Bloomingdale; step-children, Susan
Medlin of Rincon, April Scott of Claxton and Freeman Glenn Phillips of Guyton; seven
step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson; brothers, Michael Hickox of Ellabell,
Sammy Hickox of Bloomingdale and Landell Hickox of New Mexico and several nieces
and nephews.
Memorial Service: 4 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home.
