Madison Taylor Floyd
Bloomingdale-Madison Taylor Floyd, 18, died on Sunday, August 26, 2007 as a result of injuries sustained in a automobile accident.
The Chatham County native was a member of the Garden City United Methodist Church where she sang in the Church choir. She graduated from South Effingham High School in 2007 where she was a member of the school chorus. She also had been a member of the school chorus at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington, NJ where she lived for two years. She was currently a Freshman at Georgia Southern University. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Marty Kipley and a uncle, Scott Hieronymus, paternal grandfather George S. Floyd. Madison never met a stranger and loved life. She loved her family and friends.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Bill & Holly Floyd of Bloomingdale; her mother, Cindy Floyd of Pennington, NJ; step-brother, Matthew Hart of Bloomingdale; maternal grandparents, John & Carol Hieronymus of Pennington, NJ; paternal grandparents, Bill & Elaine Lee of Register; aunts and uncles, Bridget, Jayden and Jett Hieronymus, Brian & Tonia Floyd of Claxton and Ken & Beth Shelley of Pulaski,Virginia. Cousins Matthew Floyd of Claxton and Dustin and Daniel Shelley of Pulaski, Virginia.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Garden City United Methodist Church.
