Obituary
Port Wentworth-Mrs. Mae Jean Moore, 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Westview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Moore was born in Swainsboro to the late Ernest & Gladys Bishop Boatright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Elwell Moore and a grandson, Mark Ashley Wheeles. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth, was employed with L & A Supermarket for 30 years and retired from Noritake China.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelley & David Hood of Guyton and Sue & Bert Wheeles of Pooler; grandchildren, Ashley & Michael Stephens, Carolyn Jean & Brian Fitzgerald and Jimmy Wheeles; nine great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Pete & Josephine Boatright of Swainsboro and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road, Garden City, GA.
