Mrs. Maggie Hendrix Blackburn
Rincon – Mrs. Maggie Hendrix Blackburn, 92, passed away May 13, 2016 at her residence.
The Bulloch County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon, the Jesse Wall Sunday School Class, and she retired from Tetley Tea after 33 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Rusha Hendrix; and her husband, Eddie C. Blackburn.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Ann Norton and Bobby, Linda Blackburn Easterling and Haygood, Gary Blackburn and Kathy; grandchildren, Travis Blackburn, Trey Blackburn, Jaime Pind, Kellie Easterling, and Gregory Norton; great-grandchildren, Summer Norton, Avery Pind, Adeline Pind, and Logan Blackburn; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Oscar Hendrix, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.
